Magic: the Gathering is ready to make standard a blast at the end of this year’s rotation with a new set themed after one its favorite settings: Innistrad. Innistrad: Midnight Hunt is set to release September 24th, but before that, you can get a taste of the action on September 17 with the Midnight Hunt pre-release. We know you’re excited and you can’t wait. That’s why Mulligan’s Gaming Pub is dropping all the news you need to know about our Innistrad: Midnight Hunt prerelease event.
Our Weekend Event Schedule
Humans, werewolves, zombies, and all of the lore we love is just around the corner with Magic the Gatherings newest addition to Innistrad. As your premier game destination in East Tennessee, Mulligan’s Gaming Pub knows that this highly anticipated set deserves a huge pre-release introduction. That’s why we have scheduled seven prerelease events. Varying in format from sealed to two-headed giant, we will have all of the opportunities you are looking for! You don’t have to be an Enduring Angel who waits all day for the midnight prerelease at Mulligans, because we have so many events all weekend. If you are an Angelic Enforcer who attends the midnight prerelease event, we even will provide food!
Here’s our full schedule of pre-release events for Innistrad: Midnight Hunt!
- Friday, 9/17, 3 p.m.: Sealed Prerelease
- Friday, 9/17. 7 p.m.: Sealed Prerelease (Not Regular FNM)
- Saturday, 9/18, Midnight: Sealed Prerelease playing out to Top 8
- Saturday, 9/18, Noon: Two Headed Giant Prerelease
- Saturday, 9/18, 6 p.m.: Sealed Prerelease
- Sunday, 9/19, Noon: Sealed Prerelease
- Sunday, 9/19, 6 p.m.: Sealed Prerelease

Prize Support
As if potentially opening new cards like Champion of the Perished and Arlinn, the Pack’s Hope wasn’t enough of a prize, Mulligan’s Gaming Pub will have some fantastic prize support for each of our prerelease events. Prize support for each event will be based 100% on attendance per event. Then each set of event participants will have that split amongst the top cut after Swiss rounds are completed. Mulligans Gaming Pub will be adding two set packs of Innistrad: Midnight Hunt to the prize pool.
Pricing
We know that you don’t suffer from Triskaidekaphobia, and as such, you want to have an unlimited number of cards. That’s why whether you want to come in and play every event or you just want to preorder your prerelease cards through Mulligans Gaming Pub, we have an option for you. Keep in mind though that all pricing is only based upon the stock in store. There are limited quantities available so preorder your cards now to ensure you get your Innistrad Midnight Hunt. Here is the breakdown of our pricing for our weekend events all the way down to just a box.
- One Pre-order Set Box is $125.00 plus tax
- Entry to one Sealed Prerelease event is $25.00. If you sign up for a prerelease event and want to pre-order a set box; then you will get the set box at $120.00 plus tax.
- The Mulligan’s Special: Entry to 3 prerelease events of your choice for $65. With this option a booster set box costs $115 plus tax to preorder.
- The Weekend Pass: This will grant you access to all 7 events for $135. Choose this option and your preordered booster set box will only cost $110 plus tax.
